Accelerated Reading- Students have been assigned their points to earn each nine weeks. At the end of each nine weeks if students have met their individual goal, they will be rewarded with a prize. Such prizes may include extra recess, class party, snacks, movie time, etc. Please encourage your child to read and earn their points. This is another great way to enhance their reading skills.
Please make sure your child wears their tennis shoes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays! These are the two days they have Physical Education. Please help make sure they are prepared for success!
Math Facts- Please help your child with their math facts. We test these two or three times a week. Simple addition and subtraction facts are given. Fifty facts need to be mastered in 3 minutes. One Hundred facts need to be mastered in five minutes! Please study these with your child!
Every Friday we wear our Cuba T-shirts to school to show our school pride. We also have snack shack every Friday, unless otherwise noted, to help raise additional funds for our school and to provide the students with a positive reward. One item is .50 cents and two items are $1.00. We appreciate your support!
